Been online in logged in forums since 5 am browsing and reading posts. At 6:55 am, I received an alert for a new post in the NY forum that posted last night at 11:35 pm. Anyone else experiencing delay on alerts?

All alerts got delayed for me several months ago, to the point I just shut them all off. Some were delayed by weeks.

Alerts and just some regular posts all seemed to be delayed at times. Some regular posts only show up when someone replies to them, or hours after posting.

I just figured it was the nature of the beast.

I elected to receive notifications when new posts appear in watched forums. The first one seems to be the issue as the 2nd thru 5th all work instantly.

I don't have any answers, sorry
In my limited experience with different browsers (unlike Bowser of Sha Na Na, lol) pushed alerts have varied in time if at all. Y'all may have to dig deep within your browser's settings to allow push alerts. I have them accepted in the Radio Reference settings (at least they were) but Chrome hasn't allowed any... Haven't found the correct setting, yet.
