Good afternoon, all!

While listening to the weekly state EOC net on the APS system, I heard in the net preamble "...the DEMA radio net will open at 10:15; if you are part of the DRN, please check in with 5-1-Alpha."

Does anyone know if that happens on another talkgroup, perhaps encrypted, on the APS system or over on the VHF DEMA frequencies? I ask because I've not heard anything on the VHF DEMA frequencies in quite some time.

Yes, those are the nets I'm referring to, just hadn't heard anything on the VHF side in months. Appreciate the input.

I believe all the VHF transmitters are linked for the net. I monitor the South Mountain site. It was active for Wednesday's net. There was also a weather alert test, and an emergency alert test Wednesday. The South Mountain site is also frequently active with National Guard aircraft throughout the week.
