Lately, I've noticed a few undocumented tgs on the DenCo TRS.

I haven't figured them out. If anyone knows what they are, or can help, please do.

16720 (decimal)
16752
16784

TxDPS is suppose to be on 16688, so they may be related. I've tagged some those radio IDs and will keep an eye on the new talkgroups, but there just hasn't been enough activity at the right time for me to figure them out.

Thanks,
Ben

I plugged them in with an alert on the PSR if they go active. I monitor the system often so hopefully I'll get a hit with enough traffic to determine who is using it.

May make some inquiries as well.

edit: Matt's trunker dump is showing 16720 as TX DPS Ch2.

Thanks. I think 16720 is probably DPS 2 too, but will keep an ear/eye on it.

The only RID I have for 16784 so far is, i725.

I edited the wiki with some unit number info. A friend gave me a great start on the police unit numbers.
Denton County - The RadioReference Wiki There are still some unit numbers I've heard that I cannot ID.
I've been using my BCT15X and BCD996XTs radio ID function, and I believe 16720 is a constable channel.

On 16784, i've seen i720s. It might be an EMO/Fire Marshall channel.
I haven't seen enough activity on 16752 to make a guess.
I did catch a hit on 7856 which makes me think it is a jail channel, and 432 may be as well.

Happy Scanning,
Ben

I've been wondering about tg 432 as well. It's listed as a Sheriff's Office tg on here but no description as for what purpose.

Another tg I have heard but no idea what it could be is tg 12560.

To conform to standards, this page has been moved to the following;

Matt, have you caught any radio IDs with trunker, or anything? I can see if they match anything I've logged.

Hey Ben

I moved back in July so I am on the other side of Plano now so now I can't pick up DC's trunk but I looked at my old logs and saw that I have picked up that tg with trunker but can't see if there are any radio id's that were used.

I'll keep my eyes and ears open. I saw 3824 pop up with dial tones, so it might be a phone patch.
I also heard a key-up without voice on 688

Apparently there was some radio trouble overnight as the radio shop was working with dispatch on 16592 (in the DB as Carrollton Constable) and having a county dispatcher do test counts for him, but the verdict was no problem found....

I have been noticing that the simulcast distortion is occasionally quite bad but haven't paid enough attention to see if its all channels or just one particular repeater or site in the system. (Its to the point I've started calling it "simulcast wobble" since it has that kind of fluttery sound)

I've gotten a couple nibbles on one of the "unknown" TGs but not any voice to be able to ID it.

I edited the wiki to confirm 190 series units on Patrol 2 (592) are Double Oak PD.

I was able to check tonight my old trunker logs for DC.. on 12560.. i was seeing RID's os 29723, 29724, 29730 and 29733 which are all suppose municipal rid's.. the first, second and fourth where Grass Cutting radios and the third a Road department radio.

For tg 432 I have seen RID 720 (is this a console?), 3650, 3652, 3653, 3657, 3664, 3666, 3850, 3851, 3853, 3856, 3857 (which appears to be a CID RID), 3858, 3859, 3860, 3861

I'm hearing a new talkgroup, 29104, being used by radio IDs in the 3450-3470 range, which means it's probably county constables or SO. They're woking event parking at some place where there is and old and a new stadium.

Has anyone else heard this, or know what channel it is?
