So hard to listen to, The restraint by the officers running into an armed person right after the shooting is amazing. Not me, I would have opened fire......end of story!

Hope so. Did they treat the Donnie Young shooting as LODD even though he was working off-duty?
The chief's message to the department said she was killed "in the line of duty."

The funeral is Saturday, 6/30, 11 AM. I heard it's at Church of the Nazarene down on Hampden.

One question - it seems like most (all?) public safety funerals (LODD or otherwise) are at the First Church of the Nazerene. Does anybody know why - is it because it is really big?

Exactly. Holds around 2000. and it was filled yesterday. Exception is for Catholic LODD and those are at the Basilica at Colfax and Logan.
