Denville Fire

I heard rumor that Denville Fire was switching to UHF from LB. Can anyone confirm? Frequencies?

There is nothing listed in the FCC database that I can find

KBC644 is the Fire band
KEG962 is the Police Band

Because the license for KBC -644 isn't for FD anymore. WNJC-403 expired and I was told this morning, that it was renewed. The license for the new UHF system is in the process stage. They had some problems with Warner Communications and fired them. Royal has
the contract now, and is helping DFD get the new license.

Fire Dispatch And Fireground Will Be On 460.5875 With 2 Different Pl's.......... Still Have Not Heard Anything Further On When They Will Be Put Into Operations. This Proposition Is Atleast 2 Years Old Now, Yet They Still Sit On 46.24.

My rescue squad uses communications service in chester, and they suck. Royal is pricey but they do the job right the 1st time.

Our Agency uses RCI - Regional Communications Inc. Paramus NJ One word for these fine folks = OUTSTANDING !!

Been using them for years NEVER had a probem they know there stuff.

460./465.5875, which they have had for years. I didn't think of asking my source about them. He did say the DFD was appling for a whole new license. I'll have to ask what the
story is.
