The Deschutes system is a basic Motorola type II trunk system. I've not programmed one into a BC346XT though I do have a BCT15 which is sorta like the big older brother. I dont use freescan and dont know anything about it. but basicly, you set up a NEW SYSTEM, call it Deschutes Co or whatever and set it up as a 800Mz type II trunk system, then within that system set up a NEW SITE, that will be where you enter your freqencies, then set up a NEW GROUP, that is where you enter your TGID's (talk group ID #). The city of Redmond has thier own system, which you would set up the same way, new system, new site etc. If you can't understand or get freescan to work for you then do it by hand, they are small systems with not many freqs or TGID's so they wouldn't take to long once you got the hang of it.
