I'm vacationing in Destin,
I am able to get some LEO stuff.
But mostly like listening to the fire.

I have the statewide systems programed with wildcards on a pro-652.
However it seems quite.

What should I be looking for to hear area FDs?

Thanks a bunch I'm at a loss.

The fire and EMS comms in that area are pretty much all on the SLERS EDACS system using the Pro Voice digital format. The sheriff in that area is still in analog I believe. And Ft Walton law is DMR but I think your primary target will require a digital scanner with Pro Voice upgrade. Maybe someone in the area can chime in and issue any corrections on errors I may have made.

Actually my trx2 doesn't support pro voice 😬🤷🏼‍♂️

okaloosa ems and fire on slers and in the clear. Fwb PD is on dmr conv. Fhp and state law is all enc on slers. Ocso is on uhf analog.

Yes also the EMS.

Go to the Acme Oyster house and see oyster shucker Steve Trotter. He's the guy who went over niagra falls in the barrel a few times, then later was the guy who swang from the sunshine skyway bridge and the cable broke. Super nice guy, he loves to talk about his daredevil days.
