Interesting. My setup hasn't recorded talkgroup 32021 since 12/17/2025. I don't monitor 460.575, so I had not noticed any difference.
A lot of new station alerting systems these days use internet, LAN, and apps so they are likely dialing that stuff in to reduce radio traffic. It seems like they would still use a talk group for the the people with only a handheld out in the field.
At one point, I believe they were looking into having separate dispatch channels for different groups of stations
I have no idea where they are at in the process or if those are still the plans. I've seen a lot of tinkering with station alerting for the department that I'm most familiar with. It's probably like the weather. Wait 5 minutes, and it will change.
