Anyone else notice that the locution sends calls out over the station channel (460.575) once the unit has cleared now? Is this an intentional delay or is the system broken again? This has been going on for about 3 weeks now.

Interesting. My setup hasn't recorded talkgroup 32021 since 12/17/2025. I don't monitor 460.575, so I had not noticed any difference.

A lot of new station alerting systems these days use internet, LAN, and apps so they are likely dialing that stuff in to reduce radio traffic. It seems like they would still use a talk group for the the people with only a handheld out in the field.

At one point, I believe they were looking into having separate dispatch channels for different groups of stations

I have no idea where they are at in the process or if those are still the plans. I've seen a lot of tinkering with station alerting for the department that I'm most familiar with. It's probably like the weather. Wait 5 minutes, and it will change. :)

Station alerting mentioned in Technology Accountability Report (July 2025).

"5. Fire Station Alerting System. Battalion 1 installation is currently underway, with progress being carefully monitored and adjusted as needed. The Fire station alerting system rollout will follow a phased approach, deploying one battalion at a time. All planning, resource allocation, and executing phases are being aligned to meet the project deadline. The estimated completion date is December 31, 2026."

I was going to ask about 32021 - I noticed as well that it is no longer broadcasting
