What are the top mutual aid / interop talkgroups in use in the DFW metro area?

For instance, I know on the GMRS system, the Law I/O talkgroup 769 is used pretty extensively for mutual aid traffic in Dallas County. What other talkgroups on systems are used for major events, calling etc?

The folks on the Tarrant County side have become very disciplined in using Law I/O Call to request an I/O channel from Fort Worth PD. FWPD will then assign them a I/O to use. Although most agencies use them for Task Force or Mutual Aid incidents, some cities will use them for Large Events in their communities, Grapevine and Crowley come to mind. Fort Worth has begun using their Event I/O channels for parades, and large events like the Fort Worth Stock Show, Mayfest and the like. Fort Worth Fire has a set of Event channels they use at Dickies Arena and other large events. MedStar also has available Talkgroups they will assign their Special Events units to work on.

You can hear a Roll Call once a month, usually on a Thursday (at least for Fire) for all the NTIRN member cities. Last time I listened even the SW Communications cities were included.

Roll Call test are on Wednesdays. Here is a sample of the log https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/file...o-call-logs/itsradiojan2023iorollcallneed.pdf

Forgot to mention that the Fire I/O are not used much, but If FWFD responds to Burleson they will use Fire I/O 3 if they respond with a Tarrant County Fire Association agency they will use one of TCFAs talkgroups. Fort Worth Fire Alarm now dispatches for Lake Worth, Saginaw, Haslet, River Oaks and Sansom Park and they all work off of FWFD talkgroups.

Attaching document referencing the Roll Call.

Frisco Fire has 4 Mutual Aid talkgroups on their system, each with nailed up patches to the neighboring systems (well, 3 neighboring Systems, Denton County (for Little Elm), PAWMCo (for Plano) and McKinney - Prosper is just a permanent patch to a separate talkgroup on the Frisco system). Anytime there's an accident along the border with another community, Fire will be asked to respond on the Mutual Aid channel instead of the regular response channels. Because of them dispatching to that talkgroup, it's almost a daily occurrence to hear them active (many times multiple times a day, particularly with Plano on the Sam Rayburn Tollway, but also Prosper along 380).

Prosper on the Frisco system also has an additional Mutual Aid channel patched with Collin County on PAWMCo, for those times when Celina needs them, or they need Celina.

I believe Fire I/o3 on GMRS is used when Dallas responds to Lake Ray Hubbard with Rockwall for emergencies on the water.
