I saw today an update for a DFW Communications system in Livingston TX. DFW became Crosspoint which became MCA in 2019 Read this Is it time to maybe change these system names to reflect the correct ownership? I see this with Christus/Champion in East Texas also. Kinda curious who else has changed ownership since covid and needs an update?

Lol, I just updated it. I was about to go down the ownership rabbit hole but had some work stuff come up. I changed it by deprecating the unconfirmed LCN site since those frequencies are licensed but not on the air. The license is the MCA, so I’ll be glad to go back in and start changing all those names when I have a chance if we can verify that is the current owner.

Is the system still on the air? I haven't been down that way in a while to confirm but all of the old Teletouch LTR up near me has been taken offline.

I am staying in Livingston, yes it’s still on the air with LCN 1 and 3, but it doesn’t read LTR data with LTRAnalyze. 10 second data bursts with corrupted data. I flip over to Nalcom in Livingston and both LCN 4 and 8 send clean data every 10 seconds.

There is a ton of stuff in these smaller East Texas counties I'd really like to see the ownership of. DFW, Teletouch, Blair. Covid killed more than those who ate bats, several communications companies went by the wayside. I think a lot of TT was absorbed into Blair when they fell off the planet. Clear call in Dallas would be Keller Communications. Champion EMS became Christus/UT Tyler EMS. Yeah, it might be an under taking but sure would clean up the Texas DB some.

ETMC is now UT Tyler EMS.
I think we changed all the ETMC stuff already, and I’m pretty sure we got all the Champion EMS names changed as well. If y’all see any more in the database submit and we will clean it up.
