Diagnostic data in Unitrunker

I use to use Treport back years ago. I was wondering if the diagnostic data that Treport showed could be incorporated into Unitrunker?

I cannot get the program to work on Windows 7 and I like the way Unitrunker works and thought that since the diagnostic data must be in the data stream it would be a nice additional feature for Unitrunker.

I tried it but it will not run under Windows 7 and I even tried compatibility.

Hmmm... this would be a nice addition to an already useful program...

I run both UniTrunker and TRUNK88 on Windows 7 with no problem. UniTrunker gives me the multi system types but with much less history immediately available (24 hrs) on the screen. TRUNK88 gives a huge amount of information w/ great logging but is limited to 3600 baud Motorola. Both control many different radio models along with excellant accuracy in each.

The soundcard / windows version of Treport should run on Windows 7. I'll test this out myself this weekend.

I will 2nd the fact that Trunk88 runs fine under Win7.... No problems at all here. If you see the program start, some stuff scroll by, then it exits... it may be because you need to setup a few parameters first in the .cfg file. It's not that it doesn't like Win 7

For TRUNK88, it some has additional info and logs it all on the screen as well as in a file.
Just off the top of my head
- RIB / TIB Malfunctions
- affiliation rejections
- all trunks busy vs system busy (no channels available vs radio got rejected)

Also cumulative radio/talkgroup usage data available for each RID/TGID going back as far as your last reset.
System:
- shows how many times each channel was used
- shows how many times the system was fully loaded (all trunks busy)
- shows how many times the system was loaded and another transmission was rejected (system busy)
- total affiliations, deaffiliations, call grants, emergencies, busies, private calls, etc
TGIDS -
- total hits on each TGID and last time used.
- shows TGIDs active on each site and time since last affialition and last use
- logs duration of each transmission
RIDS -
- shows last use (affiliation or transmission)
- shows TGIDS radio was seen on and number of transmissions

I am sure I am missing stuff, this is just what I look at.

You can sign up to the Treport Yahoo! group and download the Windows version which works fine for me on Windows 7 64 bit.

Since TReport has pretty much been abandoned by me I'm hoping the features it provided will get added to UniTrunker. I'm working with Rick to get that to happen. I've got a few other little things I never added to TReport so I may toss those along.

I found my problem and everything seems to be working now.
