Decided to download from my SDS100 to Sentinal. Guess what? Every single department in every favorite list has disappeared in Sentinel. Fortunately my radio still has everything. How the hell did this happen?

Did. Nothing. Click on favorite list and hit program list. There is nothing in it. All profiles have the same info, just for different radios. There are no contents in any profile. If you click on the pus sign on the list panel, you get nothing.

Let's review what you did:

Plug in scanner, press E/Yes to enter Mass Storage Mode.
In Sentinel...Scanner tab...READ from Scanner.
As it's doing this and if any changes from your scanner to Sentinel that are not in your Favorite List, you receive a pop up (Replace on PC), check the box.
Prior to unplugging...File Tab....SAVE.
Unplug scanner, should see any updates in your Favorite Lists.

That's what I did. Weird. Maybe after lunch I try again and use my 536 instead and see what happens,

Sounds very much like a corrupt filesystem on the SD card. The first thing I would do is try to read from the current SD card and see what you get. Presuming you get what you had, then get a new SD card initialize it via Sentinel and then write what you downloaded from the original card to the new card.

If your radio still has what you want, try to do it again. Pay attention to each step.
