Running a couple sds 100-200 most of the time. Is there is a directional outside antenna a person can point to where you want to hear in the all frequency spectrum, mostly 900 digital now?

I use a Wilson 30111 Yagi for directional pointing, made for 700/800/900 mhz, but also picks up 150 mhz vhf pretty good. Haven't tried it in the 400-500 mhz range so can't report on that.

If you are wanting to listen to a specific band, you'd want to look at a Yagi directional antenna designed for that band.

If you want to cover a couple of bands, you'd want to look at a Log Periodic antenna.

Both are directional and will allow you to point them at the source. A good one will work better than an omnidirectional antenna.

The price will depend on your budget. There are lower end antennas that will do what you want, or you can pay a lot for some high end commercial stuff. Durability and performance come with the additional cost.

Search e-Bay if you are looking for deals. Often there are new in box antennas available for a good price if you keep your eyes open.
