BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Disabling the FM Band on the BCD996P2

How do I disable the FM band om the DCB996P2?? I'm getting tired of having to lock-out each station every time I use it...... sigh

Sounds like you have Close Call turned on. Press the squelch knob until you see "Close Call CC OFF"
If you want CC on, there are settings to not search certain bands for activity.

Are you using Close Call?
Are you scanning frequencies you programmed also?

Sounds like you are getting overloaded by nearby FM station(s). Time for some filtering. We have some manufacturers linked in our wiki here along with a discussion on the subject

Could be close call or could be FM Broadcast service search. OP needs to be more specific
If close call, OP can choose to disable VHF Low 2-Band 2- 54-108 MHz, Set CC Bands
