What would cause an active trunked system to disappear completely
from the database? Motorola SysID 5617 is known to be still active but
it's now MIA. It had two sites, in Brockville and Cornwall Ontario.

Did a Google search for "System ID 5617".

It came up with this empty page with that System ID.
not sure why the data is gone... since looking at the page. It's been around since 2003 or longer.
something happen in March/April,2010

OK...so it's not completely gone, just not findable by frequency
or SysID searches.

Next question, would someone with ability like to restore from
archive, if that is possible?

Dave,

If you send me the information, provided that the system is still active, I will restore it for you. I need to who the system belongs to, frequencies used, and locations.

Yours truly,

Ron

That may not be so easy Ron. This is what I get when I attempt to get to the Admin page for that system:
Code:
I'm sorry, there was an error retrieving the information from the database
for sid == "" .....

Admins, please log issue(s) for this in Mantis for Lindsay to resolve. I can't do anything about this. Thanks.

I have confirmed that the 2nd site of this system still has an active CC,
so whether it was removed intentionally or disappeared through some
glitch, should be restored.

At the same time someone should check SysID 473b in Kingston Ont.
which also disappeared at some point. If it's gone totally inactive that
is understandable, however, is there a way to access these from archives
(excepting going back through old copies of the DB DVD which I do not
have...)?
