Discone scanner antenna(Tram 1411)

I just received this antenna and it has set screws to hold stinger in the hub and also has screw in elements which go into a metal hub,my question is,should I use lock tight on the set screws and elements to keep them from coming lose?

It seems like a good idea. It won't have any effect on the antenna and you can break the set screws loose if you need to,

Lock-Tight Blue, can be used.

RED locks the screws permanently.

+1 on blue Loc-Tite. It will keep screws from coming loose from vibration, but still allows disassembly without twisting them off.

Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242 from Loctite Adhesives is probably better, but I'd have good success just putting a dab or rubber cement over the screws.
