HP-2: Discovering talk groups without support

I'm a member of a county fire department and we just successfully switched over to the P25 trunked system.
There is nothing in the database yet to support the new system so I'm not able to even get so far as being able to enter the "discover" mode in my HP-2 scanner. Apparently you must have at least some basic info to get that far.
The communications corp that installed the system won't release the data to program the scanner nor will my fire chief. Any suggestions???

You might want to check out the Hawaii forum. It appears there's some recent discussion on a few new P25 systems. Chances are one of these threads will have the info you're looking for.
