Thanks John,

Here are the main frequencies and talkgroups I'll have programmed in my radios. I'll be out there Friday for the practice sessions and on Sunday.

These frequencies are from the past two airshows at DMAFB, as well as the Heritage Training Conference. All of these frequencies will probably not be used, but I don't want to miss one either :)

I went to the practice today on base. No real surprises, other than I will not take my BCD436HP with me tomorrow ! It performed so poorly it will require it's own thread :( Back to my GRE radios that always work at airshows !

I heard the following:

118.50mhz - Airboss
134.10mhz - Discrete
139.00mhz - An OLD TBirds freq, used only for a test in the very, very beginning before takeoff.
251.90mhz - CSAR Exercise
235.25mhz - TBirds
322.95mhz - TBirds

Regular DMAFB Tower and Ground frequencies were also active.

I tried to use the Close Call on the 436 and that FAILED too. I am willing to bet other frequencies were in use, but the radio I chose to go with today couldn't handle it :(

Any other frequencies that I missed today ?

Any one going to the show tomorrow, Saturday ?

Thunderbirds generally use VHF for diamond and delta formation. Solos generally use UHF. In Phoenix a few weeks back they used 141.175 AM. Add that to your list if you have not caught them on one of the other well known VHF freqs.

Hoping to be there on Sat. Just depends on how I feel in the morning and if I'll be able to be on my feet and deal with the crowds. I have a friend who is a crew member on one of the display birds and haven't seen in a while. We shall see..........

Thanks Joe, I do have it in there, but didn't hear it. Today is a new day :)

Well, Thunderbirds didn't go up due to the 26mph cross winds at show time :(

Not a total loss though....

Thunderbirds Comm Cart is using 413.325mhz
As Joe noted earlier, 141.175mhz was also noted today in addition to the 235.25mhz frequency.

On the DMAFB P25 TRS, talkgroup 133 was the Medical channel.

Couple of recoveries for PCWIN Interop talkgroups too, that were in use.
