Greetings All,
I am having some difficulties with a DMR/Turbo system using the SDS200.
My primary interest in this system (NYCOMCO Turbo/Mt. Beacon Site) is the local Highway Dept.
However, there seems to be some issues with receiving most services on this system/site.
When I set the radio for ID Searching the system, the squelch seldom breaks, even though there may be an indication of a TGID/Service.
Normally, I run with an outside antenna, but I get the same results with an attached whip antenna.
I have access to a BCD325P2, which I programmed with the same identical system.
Sitting this radio next to the SDS200 (with just the Ducky on the BCD325P2), I get decodes for just about everything (including my local Highway Dept),
while the SDS200 is silent.
With the hope that maybe a firmware update would fix this, I spent the better part of today installing a Windows system so that the radio could be updated.
However, this update did NOT seem to make a difference. (Main v1.23.03/Sub V1.03.02)
The radio seems to perform OK with local EDACS and P25 systems.
Is there some special setting that is needed to get this work?
I've attached a .zip file with the current .hpd file for this system.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanx.
