does anyone mointor sussex county

I have a quick question I have a pro96 about a month and half old. when I mointor sussex county sometimes the transmistion comes across choppy not sure if it's the scanner or something else. thanks for any help.

I find reception in Sussex to be a bit spotty....as opposed to the other two counties, which seem better covered. Are you experiencing problems w/ the 96 in many areas of the county - or only in certain spots?

just certain spots. I took it upstate about two weeks ago and had no problem just certain areas of sussex. and night times seem to be more common.

Yep - a well recognized problem in Sussex. Don't suspect it has anything to do with your 96. If you are using the standard ducky antenna - upgrading the the Radio Shack "800" ducky might give you a boost in reception when you're in the fringe areas.
