DON STARR WIN95 PROGRAM- HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have downloaded the Starr 95 program. I went and got the
20-289 cable from Radio Shack. Hooked to my computer and scanner. Now what do I do? Are there any instruction I can download/ print from the internet. I am computer/scanner illiterate so I may need step by step instructions. Thanks- Rich

Download Win96 from http://starrsoft.com/software/win96/default.asp and unzip the help file. The information in the help file generally applies to Win95 as well, especially the troubleshooting parts on how to get up and running.

If you already have channels programmed into your scanner, upload the information from your scanner to your computer. I don't have the program in front of me, but the tool bar is on the upper part of the program, and it will say either download/upload to computer after you select it. That will give you the basic idea of what information to put into the program.

I think you'll find it's pretty straight forward after you play with it a while. If you have any specific questions, post it and I or someone else will try to help. It's a good program.
