Then another hour to remove all the bloatware associated with that driver. Please. Can't I just install the driver?
Don't get me started!
Several years ago, I bought a brand-new Dell OptiPlex with Windows 10 Pro. I thought 32GB was large enough for the "C:\" drive, and I was WRONG. When the OEM installer was done, there were only a few GB left on the drive, and I couldn't find anything to remove--no bloatware, no "System Restore" points--nothing, that I could nuke to free up space. It was unusable.
Fortunately, that was an offline test install. I later installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and was able to use the ISO download and the product key from the MSDM firmware table to activate Windows 10 Pro in VirtualBox. I was actually surprised to see the Microsoft license explicitly permitted this.
