I have identified some additional CT DOT TGs for D1 from the earlier snow storm, lust looking for a bit of help on possible locations. I'm 95% confident in:

5611 - Berlin/Cromwell area - Talk of of "the turnpike" and "just going under 3" and exit 23 matches the DOT Yard on 660 Brook st in Rocky Hill.
5617 - East Windsor area - Several trucks getting off on Exit 45 or 46.

However, i can't seem to figure out TG 5618 to narrow it down, all I have is the following...
-Reference to "66" and "9". I'm assuming Rt 66 and 9
-Under bridge
-Between 11 & 12 PD turn around
-Exit 1B and possibly related, East Main St

Any thoughts from people more familiar in that area of the state.

Working on the same thing for my area, Looks like 5637 & 5638 are very active but I have yet to narrow them down.

It will be nice to have the DOT TGs when its poor weather, something else to listen to

That is District 3 which covers Milford but each garage does not have a talkgroup. 10 groups per District (one of which is likely ATG) plus Statewide ones.

I spent some time listening/recording this last storm. It appears D1 is divided into 2 or 3 zones, mayne more. Most of the traffic seemd to be highway eclelon plows. Makes sense that they would talk more than a singel plow runnig a 2 lane road in Tolland, etc.

TG 5617 is likely to be the north or north central of Manchester/Glastonbury and Hartford/East Hartford. Confirmed they are running up to the MA line. Also confirmed areas in Manchester, East Hartford I-84 near P&W.

TG 5618 appears to be south of West Hartford/Hartford and Manchester/Glastonbury areas. Found addational refrences to locations on Rt 2 which I beleoive to be Exit 10/Route 83 North in Glastonbury and parts of West Hartford. Possibly covers all the way to the souther border.

TG 5611 Possibly covers areas inlcuding and to the south of Berlin/Cromwell, not sure on that yet.

I scanned all talkgroups from 5610-5665 during the 24 hours of the storm on the A,E,F,G,I,and K simulcast sites. These are the talkgroups I received on the sites they affiliated on:
5611 F
5611 I
5611 K
5617 F
5617 K
5618 F
5618 I
5618 K
5621 E
5621 F
5621 K
5631 F
5631 G
5631 I
5637 F
5637 G
5637 I
5638 F
5638 G
5638 I
5641 A
5641 I
On many occasions I can hear the transmissions on the low band channels at the same time (patching to the CLMRN)

Based on more listening I'm 95% confident that TG 5617 is north and TG 5618 is south for primary road crews/plows ops, TG 5611 only gets sporadic use. The dividing line is somewhere in the area of Manchester/East Hartford/Bloomfield and West Hartford/Hartford/Glastonbury. I suspect it could be I84/384 and Rt 44, but that's just my educated guess.

Epically with the echelon crews on highways, they tend to be very vague i.e "everyone get off the next exit and wait by the bridge" etc. Only when they really what to make a specific location known for issues, do they seem to give more precise locations like Exit 48 North bound, etc.

Those TGs are the ones used in each District so whatever they are named, it is likely the same in each district.
56x1 has the most users affiliated so very likely that is the main channel for each District. 56x7 and 56x8 are the second and third most popular TGs in each district so may be something like Ops 1 and Ops 2 or something like that. They were the same groups that were being used a bunch for sweeping so very likely not Snow 1 and 2 or Plow 1 & 2.
I wouldn't be surprised if there is a supervisors group, perhaps signs, electricians, etc
5612 recently used again for electricians talking to safety trucks
