Downloading Databases

I am new to RR. Can someone please tell me where to go and how to download to my BCD396XT scanner. Thank you. I appreciate the help. I live in Suffolk County, NY.

Welcome to RR. You need once or two things 1st.
1. You would need to become a paid subscriber to this site to get the automatic down loads, but this is also very reasonable($7.5 for 3 months). This can save you countless hours of programming and frustration.
2. FreeSCAN software to manage downloads to your scanner. It is free.

Here are some instructions FreeScan User Guide You may also need a USB adapter.cable Not sure if Uniden includes it now. Connecting_scanners_via_USB
