Downloading Radio Reference database to Chirp ?

I'm very new to this and am most definitely the cause of the problem.

I am trying to download Some Radio Reference database frequencies over to CHIRP so I can then download them to my radio memory.

I enter my user name, password and zip when asked in the drop down then click continue.

This dialogue box appears "Suds library required for RadioReference.com import.
Try installing your distribution's python-suds package."

Don't Know what a "Suds package" is, any help.

Yeah sorry, should have included that. MAC High Sierra.

Well because I didn't get an answer from the innerwebs when I googled and there wasn't too much here as well, I decided to do it the old fashioned way.

I manually put in the frequencies into the radio instead. I think this worked out better for an unforeseen reason and that is it gave me some good hands on work with the radio controls and menus.

So for two reasons I am no longer interested in the answer to the threads original question.

One would be the reason mentioned above and the other is I think I posted this thread in the wrong forum, I now see a forum up above titled "database discussion forum"
Pretty sure that is where this belonged to begin with.

So mods if you see fit you can just let this die in place and don't bother moving it to the correct forum, as I said...no longer interested in the answer.
