As Ubbe said I had that same problem with a SDS100 sent it in came back no problems. I retested against my other 2 SDS100's and SDS150 still had the same problem so I called Uniden Support said send it back it passed the bench test for a second time and they called me I gave them permission to test it locally out of the lab it showed the problem. Uniden Support replaced the RF Board and the SDS100 (1st Release Unit Low Serial Number) is back to working as it should. If you can Video the 2 sitting side by side and include that also. In your notes to Uniden Support tell them to call if they have any questions.

Include as much evidence and proof as possible, switching the antenna or coax between two scanners to show that the problem are unique to that one scanner while recording the video. Store the video on a SD card, the one you have in the scanner, and refer to it in your notes and hopefully you'll get the SD card back. If they have a computer nearby they can play files from a USB memory but CD or other media might be more problematic.

Also when you try and be very specific and detailed you might find that you had two favorite lists with the same system in both but one had attenuation enabled, or something similar like that.
