DRM but only just....

Usually the only DRM station I can receive is All India first thing in the morning...but tonight 2040local/0740z I'm getting Radio Espana International from Noblejas on 9780kHz quite well - a few dropouts but his SNR is pretty good at around 15dB - couple of guys nattering away in Spanish of course!

WinRadio G303e from a 66ft wire outside up about 20feet through a 9:1 un-un and Dream software in a Dell Laptop.

Watch your soundcard levels. Having fooled around a little with DREAM at the various Winterfests, I know that it's sensitive to having too much signal, and that's not an uncommon issue on a laptop. In fact sometimes you may need to go to your System Tray and reduce them slightly.

The next time you are receiving DRM and having dropouts, give that a try

Thanks for that Mike, but the soundcard doesn't get involved as the G303 is an SDR with a 12kHz IF still digital so the Dream programme works directly with that - no external soundcard connection or levels to worry about.
