Hi all. Wondering about the registration status that appears in DSD+ of a radio ID and the an Accept, followed up by an affiliation request and then deregistraion. All within a matter of seconds.

Would this tend to lean toward that particular radio attempting to enter an encrypted state, or is it just a matter of that particular ID registering on the network? Relates to NSWPSN P25

Encryption just chops voice up, places in a bag, shakes it and then puts it together scrambled.

Both the above posters are correct.

I take it encryption is doing it's job right then ?
