Just started playing around with my RTL-SDR and wanted to tune into the local police which use p25 digital. I think I have everything set up properly. I followed the guide on rtl-sdr about listening to P25 digital, but I'm not getting any audio from DSD+. In the command window I get lots of these messages:

Sync: no sync
Sync:-NXDN96 TB VOICE e:7r7r7r6e
Sync:p25p1 HDU
Sync:p25p1 NAC: 2 LDU2 e:ErFrErErFrFrFrDrEr
Sync:p25p1 HDU
Sync:p25p1 NAC: 2 LDU2 e:FrFrErFrErFrFrFrFr
Sync:p25p1 HDU
Sync:p25p1 NAC: 2 LDU2 e:DrDrFrFrFrFrDrDrDr
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2
Sync:p25p1 NAC: 2 LDU2 e:FrErErErErErErFrEr
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2
Sync:p25p1 unknown/invalid DUID: 2

I set the VB virtual cable as the default recording device. I also set it to play back through a headset just to make sure the levels were good and everything was audible. I tried changing the levels around, but that had no effect. Any guesses as to what these messages mean or what I should try?

I too am getting this message on a strong signaled P25p1 Control Channel.
From the Audio I'm still receiving hits and able to log data.
I think if we knew what DUID was it would help explain things, and what the number's stood for as well.

DUID = Data Unit ID, which is the P25 frame type. DUID 5 = LDU1 DUID 10 = LDU2. These are the two voice frames. there are other DUIDs such as Trunking Signalling block, Packet Data Unit, Header data unit etc etc.
