I understand. Also, I copied all those files from their folder and deleted the empty folders. I guess I’ll try and figure out this TCP thing.

If your doing single dongle mode, you launch 1 bat file for the tuner to use the dongle and its tcp port should be 20001.

When you launch the second bat file to open DSDPlus, it will have the matching tcp port of 20001.

I renamed my batch files as I have created many of them for different things

I believe you want to launch Fmp24-cc.bat followed by 1R.bat

I attempted to launch the FMP24-cc and was told SDR 1 was in use or something similar. I then ran the VC followed by the 1R.bat and got this screen. I’m seeing “FMPx link established, link ID 20002, FMPx link established.” Can I use this? Or do I need the CC file, not the VC?

Then you have 2 dongles. Edit the first bat (Fmp24-cc.bat) to use first available dongle by changing i1 or i2 to i0 . What that does, 1 or 2 identify your dongles. i0 will use first available dongle it can use.

When trying to open the FMP24-cc, I get a box saying: “RTL SDR device #1 is in use.” I click ok and the box closes along with anything I could edit. I swear I’ve only got one usb port in use. I had a Bluetooth but disconnected it about 3am. I’ve been trying to run DSDPlus the better part of the morning lol. I do want it to work the way you know it needs to. I can however hear static when I click on the “VC Idle screen”.

Your pic is showing you have FMP24 open. Bottom right red circle. Console screen is saying both dongles are in use. Close every thing out. Remove and reinsert the dongles. Then start FMP24-cc.bat, then the 1R.bat.

Thanks for bearing with me. I unplugged the dongle, plugged it back in, then restarted the computer. I’m still showing an SDR count of 2 and that RTL SDR device #1 is in use. The only option I have on the FMP24 box is to click ok and that closes the program. The machine running DSD Plus is about 240’ away… took me a minute lol.

Find FMP24-cc.bat and right click, edit

it should read like this
FMP24 -rc -i1 -o20001 -P0.0 -f935.0
The way this is now is telling it to use dongle #1.

Change it to this
FMP24 -rc -i0 -o20001 -P0.0 -f935.0

You will change i1 to i0.

Then file-save. That's going to tell it to use the first unused dongle. Not sure why after a reboot one dongle is in use.

Thanks Dave! I’ll try and find my DSDPlus input and find a way to make it match my FMP24 output.
The FMP24 console window will tell you where it is sending. Go to the Input menu on DSDPlus and make sure Use Direct FMPx Linking is selected, then select Direct FMPx Link ID. You can type in the matching address there.
