Shows in his pic he is running most recent and also shows hardware error which is usually either a usb issue or the dongle failing. Had a nooelec that popped a hardware message a while back. Dongle died.

The 0000002 one comes up on Google with a bunch of other stuff related to corrupt usb drivers.

I would try different ports and see what happens.

I had sent an e-mail this afternoon with the error text but failed to mention the 2p253 in that e-mail. A second e-mail has been sent tonight with that inclusion.
Thanks for some hope.

Looks like a bad USB connection. Back in the TRUNK88 days, I found that a flaky connection could bork something in the rtl-sdr.dll code or in the libusb-1.0.dll code. Deal with the bad connection and the crashing will likely go away. In the past, I've bent the top metal plate of a dongle's USB connector down a bit to make it fit snugger and it definitely helped.

Fast Lane is still not working after gently pushing the connector and the USB ports in the computer.

Since I have other software, I tried this dongle with Unitrunker and SDRTrunk.

I next tried Unitrunker 2.1.0107 and it worked with Metrolinx sys:1AC on 410.2125 MHz 95 Health signal. When switching to LMRN site 40 on 142.905, I got zero Health signal.

SDRTrunk v0.6.0-alpha6 also works with the Peel 4F8 P25 800 MHz system. It sat Idle when switching over to LMRN Site 40 142.905 MHz

Interestingly, on both those programs I can't get VHF Hi to work but higher frequencies do work with this dongle. I went back to Fast Lane and I'm getting the receiver error immediately.

I'm using a FlightAware ProStick Plus. It is just not pulling in VHF any more. Go ahead, tell me the obvious.
