I've been wondering for a while if there is a way to have just the active call showing in a specific window, and also a file that can be read by other programs?
In terms of the window display, the main site I monitor, has a Channel activity window that is about 40 rows in size, and a lot of traffic that is ENC or prioritied- out, so it can take a moment to locate the active call. Add to that, a second site running at the same time...
Thoughts I've had is a dedicated window essentially showing the same as what the channel window shows, or having active call shown at the top of the channel window?
I have a vague memory of this being the case a long time ago, but that may have been when running Unitrunker and just DSDPlus to handle voice, back when we first went digital.
In terms of a file/data output - I run Radiofeed at home so I can listen quickly on my phone or another device away from my office. It can monitor certain file types, or a window caption to provide metadata to the feed. Other tools like NodeRed, or a MQTT server could use json and be parsed to different display options also.
Something others may have considered, or already have a solution to?
