I'm using DSDPlus FL monitoring a Cap+ system with 2 sites. each site has only 1 Freq and the FCC says that there are only 2 Freqs for this user. I have excellent reception of both sites. I've set up 2 DSDPlus instances in 2 separate folders to monitor both sites simultaneously. Over a 24 hr period a Ch4 popped up in both Activity Windows. I didn't observe when it happened and checking the log files it doesn't show any Ch4. It doesn't show a Ch3 (yet). Is it possible there is another frequency in the system (there would have to be 2, one for each site) that is not licensed, or is this an anomaly with DSDPlus?

Well after searching the log file I found a RestCh=4 amid a lot of errors and incorrect CC's for that site. So all I can assume is some kind of interference on the channel from another site. More sleuthing !

and pay attention to DCC. That would help tell if you are monitoring more than one system. You can also use the DCC to keep only the target system traffic heard.

Yes, Site 1 uses DCC1 and Site 2 uses DCC2. How do I set DSDPlus FL to only look at the DCC I specify?

Each RF frequency on a Cap+ site can have different color codes. They may not all be the same.

Look for the word "disambiguation" in Notes.txt or the setup guide that I posted.

Search (CTRL f) the notes for "disambiguation". It tells you how to add another place in the Frequencies file for the DCC.

In the .frequenies file, you can add the DCC to the end of the line of that specific site. This is the format:

; protocol, networkID, siteNumber, OTAchannelNumber, TXfrequency, RXfrequency, sortOrder [, DCC]

Like this (just an example):
Cap+, 11004, 1, 1, 463.3125, 0.0, 0, 13
Cap+, 11004, 1, 3, 463.7375, 0.0, 0, 13
Cap+, 11004, 1, 5, 463.9750, 0.0, 0, 13

So the DCC for this site is 13

Thanks, I completely missed that in the notes!
