SDRPlay DSDplus & RSP1a error

All was well yesterday with RSP2, 2.256 and FMPP 1.13 but startup today yields:



I didn't make any conscious changes to anything. TIA for any helpful suggestions...

I received DSD+ 2.256 and FMPP 1.13 via Fastane in August. The only update I received since then is DSD+ 2.289, no FMPP update. The situation above occurs with both 2.256 and 2.289. I do not have a way to go back to SDRPlay service 3.06.

Hello,

If you look at the Change Log in the Notes.txt file, you will see that the 2.275 and 2.268 updates are missing. The 2.268 update included FMP24 2.70, FMPA 2.37, and FMPP 1.15.

You need to request the missing updates from DSDplus.

Surely he could just use the misc menu and download up to date base files?

Hello,

Thanks @slicerwizard as I did not realize the download scheme had changed again. I keep up using the updates and assumed the base files where the ones that did not change as it does not have any version or date info. I find this annoying since I keep an archive of my downloads. I have to rename the file to include a version or date.

Hello,

I downloaded the base files again and found they are the same as I downloaded last September. So it will be interesting when there are additions or changes to the base files. Meanwhile I renamed the file to DSDPlusBaseFiles2p268.zip to denote the first DSDplus version where it can be used.

Thanks to both of you. Downloaded files via the menu option and all seems to be running as intended with no error messages.
