hi, im hoping someone may be able to help me out with trunk tracking.Im really new to digital scanning and am exhausted after ive have spent 3 days and Sh#t loads of internet usage learning.Ive finally upgraded from a uniden UBC93XLT to a DSE DTS-96 scanner and to be honest its driving me nuts!! lol
Ive entered the control frequency and set trunk to motorola.when it scans i receive the talk group ids and can even save them by pressing trunk however i can not hear anything. Ive programmed conventional frequencies for RFS etc and these work well, ive "initialised" the scanner a couple of times in the hope this may work but no such luck. Am i missing something or is this scanner buggered??
Also when i manually select the channel i hear a contstant hissing with the following displayed on the screen. (of which the last three lines constantly take turns in flashing up)
