I have a question that I have been meaning to ask awhile. Anyone who has driven by the Smokey Hill Tower off of lliff knows as you drive by if your listening to your FM radio in your car it fades out. Why does it do that? Are the Frequencys that close?

At the smoky hill site there are so many transmitters going at one time that it just overpowers your broadcast radio. Remember not only is the dtrs smoky hill sight transmitting at least its control channel but so is the Aurora public safety system which is also located there and is also transmitting at least its control channel stream. In addition there are several cellular transmitters that are constantly transmitting..

So there are a lot of carriers all the time.
