DuPage County Law Enforcement Dispatch Encrypted

It appears that encryption for DuPage law enforcement dispatch channels has started. Some channels, like Court Services and college PDs appear to still be in the clear.

Edit: It appears that this is still a work in progress so there might yet be some in-the-clear operations for some time.

Are we sure its being encrypted? I'm still hearing dispatch traffic, but it has switched to local channels. Are they just rebalancing to handle the high volume of traffic each town has?

Actually I stand corrected. At 5:30am dispatch advised to switch to local channels while the talkgroup updates were being completed.

All DuPage County Sheriff and PD STARCOM21 dispatch talkgroups are now encrypted full-time.
