The same frequency is used by the City, and by the County. But the City is Analog entirely. Whereas, The County has the same frequency. Set up digitally. Am I missing something?
Yes, That frequency.I'm assuming you're talking about the DVRS frequency. Those frequencies can be used in analog or digital. Subscribers can support mixed mode receive which will listen for an analog or digital signal. Some agencies prefer to use analog, others use P25.
Yes, I programmed them, as two different systems.Remember that Durham CITY and Durham COUNTY are two separate agencies.
The Sheriff Department has many functions that the city does not perform, (jail, court security, and regular police services in the unincorporated areas outside of Durham City.
Altho Durham City covers most, but not all of Durham County, it is sometimes hard to tell the difference between the two agencies.
Durham City and Durham County share a system controller with Cumberland County

Another 'head scratcher' to this thread is that...
While the:
Durham Vet Hosp(digital)
NCSHP(Durham; digital)
Both come through fine.
The Durham portion of the Durham-Fayetteville system is not. I double-checked the CC's on the Durham site, traffic is not showing up. Any ideas'?
I know. I was referring to how Viper systems are working. But not the Durham system.Durham VA and NCSHP are both on VIPER, not the Durham system.
