I love to use my DX-398 a lot while camping but it burns through the 4xAA batteries quickly. I have a Bluetti EB70s power station that I would like to use as a power supply to the radio. I could use my AC adapter but don’t like the idea of going DC to AC and back to DC.
I have located a USBA to DC plug adapter that would fit but that would only supply 5V to the 6V input on the radio. Before I go that route was wondering if you guys think I should use a 12V to 6V adapter on the DC5521 or Cig Lighter ports, or try to figure out a way to use the USBC PD3.0 port. Thanks for you advice.
Power Station available ports:
1x Cig Lighter 12V/10A
2x DC5521 12V/10A
2x USBA 5V/3A
2x UCBC PD3.0 (5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3A, 20V/5A) 100W Max
DX 396 6V Input Jack:
6V/300ma 5.5 mm OD/ 2.1 mm ID barrel plug
