5 additional Air Tankers inbound from Calif and Utah ( as of 1700 hours 7/1)
Load and reload at Pocatello

E Idaho BLM Net UHF - 408.475

As Fred indicates the UHF is likely a downlink from a remote RX site - so you hear what Dispatch/Field Offices are also hearing

103.5 PL for he BLM nets.

Thank you. I am well aware of the UHF links and how they are used. In some areas the the UHF has better reception than the VHF.

if you hear them using Repeater named, feel free to post here and I can update the wiki (most folks not familiar with the wiki edit)

Many folks are not familiar with the UHF, and yup depending on the beam from it back to Dispatch it sure does enhance reception

The comment was not meant for you, it was for other readers who don't understand system links. I often see posts here on RR where people call the UHF system some sort of field system that simulcasts what is on VHF.
