East Orange PD

Just noticed two new talk groups in the database for East Orange. Both running full E. Even though I am practically right down the street from there, I can't hear there current system at all on a good day. Anyone hearing anything on the PD trunk system still?

I passed through the city today on the Parkway and I didn't see life on the Type II's control channel. If a second source can confirm it's dead I'll submit it as depreciated.

I'm in the area. The control channel is active this evening: 478.725
However in the last 10 minutes I have not heard any activity at all. I don't typically monitor this system so I don't know if that is unusual or not.

Where do you see 2 new talk groups? The last database update for East Orange was back in 2022 and there are no encrypted TG's listed in the database for them.

I think he mean’s NJICS talkgroups

Yes - EOPD is on NJICS and E for many channels, however, there are some that are not, but seem to be event channels, they have not been very active.

Don’t overlook other conventional systems, these may be of value.
Found FB2 with BLS operations. Have not found paper on it yet.
