For what radio? Most software is radio-specific.
I see you have a 785. ARC250 from BuTel (Scanner Master has it) and
ProScan are probably the 2 big players for that radio. Why not download a demo and see which one you like better?
You have another challenge - connecting your scanner and PC, since newer PCs don't have serial ports. Fortunately many off the shelf models work fine, from past reports - and we have some information on a few of them, along with using Windoze Device Manager to fix issues documented here in our wiki (anything in blue is a link)
