Hey there.
I will try and edit a sample tonight. I didn't realize how unique this system was until I saw a newspaper article about this system a couple of weeks ago and found out it was the only one of the kind in the country...

That was easier than I expected... Here ya go. The "tones" or noises at the start of each dispatch are different depending on the call type.

Okay... so how do

That is perfect. Thank you very much.

I was out in Edmonton a month ago. I wish I had a tape recorder with me at the time.

Would it be possible to get sound files of a couple more dispatches? I am looking for a structure fire dispatch (multiple stations involved) and an EMS ambulance dispatch. Also, when I was in Edmonton a month ago, there were some calls that were dispatched using a set of tones that sounded very much like the tones used by Station 51 on the TV show EMERGENCY!

Well, it seems like the automated dispatches have stopped. I think it was just a test until the end of the year, as I have not heard any, or seen any on unitrunker for days.
