Eight new sites have been added to the AZ WINS P25 system:

220 Kelvin Peak Pinal, AZ 770.45625c
224 Payson Gila, AZ 774.29375c
226 Wickenburg Maricopa, AZ 774.33125c
227 Mogollon Rim Coconino, AZ 774.81875c
228 Blue Ridge Coconino, AZ 770.45625c
230 Location TBD Gila, AZ 770.40625c
234 Strawberry Peak Coconino, AZ 770.43125c
235 Mount Ord Gila, AZ 774.30625c

All of these site locations need to confirmed.

With the exception of 220 Kelvin Peak and 226 Wickenburg, all of
these sites are (first blush) believed to be located NE of Phoenix.

Please pass along any reception notes that you collect to help confirm
their locations.

Went and checked this morning and no control channel being broadcast as of yet in Wickenburg.

Hi, Kurt,

I had site 2-33 pop up while using Unitrunker in the past few days but did not see any traffic or voice channels appear.

Had my SDS100 with me tonight and can confirm two control frequencies and the NAC for the site. Was monitoring from near Buckeye Road and I-17 in Phoenix. Signal booming in at -60 db.

Seemed to carry DPS and CID traffic.

I've noticed a tower at DPS headquarters on Encanto Blvd, on a mapping app. Perhaps that's the location?

Hi Kurt im pretty sure Mogollon Rim site is Diamond Point As it has the same Lat and Lon.

Another update for Site 2-33 captured tonight.
Three additional control or alternate control channels and a voice channel popped up.

Control or alternate control: 769.66875, 769.91875 and 770.16875.
Please amend previously reported 769.16875 to a voice channel.

Site 2.27 has been updated to Diamond Point.
Site 2.33 location has been updated to Encanto Blvd and the frequency set has been updated.

I have not heard any activity on 228 Blue Ridge (near my home) or 234 Strawberry Peak (which we normally call "5 Mile" in our area). Also, I believe Diamond Point is in Gila County. And Mt Elden seems to be still carrying DPS traffic intermittently. Thx

Had three new neighbor sites to 2-004 (Thompson Peak) populate in Unitrunker today. No voice traffic monitored as of yet.

Site 2-021 - Control - 774.29375
Site 2-031 - Control - 770.46875
Site 2-032 - Control - 770.44375

Payson site is good if you can receive it. You can pickup Prescott and Yuma areas with their talk groups if you live in the PHX basin.

Can track them with my APX all the way thru the 10 frwy to Quartzite and farther to the CA border and back to the PHX basin with no issues. Solid
