Electonique Mecier System L2009

Hello,

I wonder if there is some confusion with the GoMobile system as I am hearing a NXDN 4800 control channel in Rimouski, Quebec on 164.625 MHz identifying as L2009 Site 12. I noticed the GoMobile system (L2008) in the RRDB also has a site 12 with a control channel on 164.625 listed as Covey Hill.

So far I am picking up three sites licensed to Electonique Mecier. This appears to be the system.

It appears the frequency map is laid out so the site number is part of the channel number. This allows up to 10 frequencies to be mapped per site.

Hello Eric, Viewing the submission queue, Site 12 is one that you discovered back in August 2018. I will remove it from GoMobile.

I will see if I can figure it out some more when I go up to Montreal in August. Maybe the two operators are using the same parameters on the same frequency. I found some frequencies and will submit when I leave the area.

Propagation was enhanced yesterday (sunday) morning and I "heard" signals (but did not decode anything at the time) from the Montreal area, which are normally out of range, including a Nexedge 9.6k UHF system site at Covey Hill (CC 420.0125), System 2021 in the DB:

OK, BTW confirmed that System 2008 Site 12 has 164.625 as CC sometimes (Channel = 572), three related VCs to sort out.
