I've gotten a couple of electroline drop amps to use as multicouplers. Yes, I understand their limitations, they are working fine for the scope and purpose I'm using them for. I've noticed however the DC supply voltages are kind of all over the place. I've seen 13, 15, 18 on various models and I can't seem to infer the logic behind this. Does somebody know of some documentation that would explain it?

How specific is the DC supply voltage stated on the electroline? I saw one post from a RR member stating that feeding it with 12/13.8 worked just fine even though the electroline model they were using said it wanted a higher voltage.

I have a EDA 2800 and yeah its 15v. I think it was this model where I saw a forum posting saying it would still work at 12v.

The model that is showing two options is the EDA-FT08100 and EDA-FT08300 They look identical form factor wise... can figure out the difference between the 100 and 300 part of the model number When you search for a spec sheet PDF, Electroline returns the same sheet for both(based off my attempts). 8100 takes 18v the 8300 takes 13v
