Any new freqs or changes to exiting freqs or talk group ids?
Not that I could tell.
Operations were on TG 17744 (PD-SO Common) and there was also some intial activity on the 18352 TG (Paducah ERT). Most transmissions were in the clear except for the snipers were encrypted on their end only. One interesting thing was that the snipers would be encrypted and the command post as well as the assualt teams were in the clear and they could communicate with each other at the same time. The command post would call a sniper in the clear and the sniper would come back encrypted, so you got at least half of the subject of the transmission. Some of the pre-exercise traffic on the 18352 TG was encrypted, some not.

Are local agencies the only agencies involved or is KYEM involved also? Just wondered if you have heard anything on the Kentucky Emergency Management /Kentucky National Guard Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference system.
