I am hearing a few unknown TGID but no hearing police and ems anymore.

The former users of the Emory 800 system, including Police and EMS, migrated to the DeKalb County digital system a few months ago.

See DeKalb County Public Safety P25 Trunking System, DeKalb County, Georgia - Scanner Frequencies.

Hospital Security is also using the DeKalb system now, and I have heard from one system user that they feel like it works fine even at Emory Midtown, even though the DeKalb system wasn't exactly designed to penetrate a midtown highrise building.

Because they now have P25 radios, I have heard Emory Hospital Security personnel talking on Atlanta PD Zone 5 a lot more, when they have incidents around Emory Midtown.

Thanks Dan. It appears that the analog system is being used by hospitality. There are some TG IDs coming up - sounds like the hotel or something.
