EMS Service In Lincoln County

I am hearing an EMS service on 158.82 with a PL tone of 186.2 that is located in Lincoln County. They are talking about going to Chandler and Welston etc. I looked in the database but can't find anything. Does anyone know who it might be? Can anyone close give them a listen? Thanks...

Well according to the oklahoma state dept of health website both Chandler and Wellston have thier own ems service. I know that Chandlers is based out of there FD. It also said there were only 5 ems services in lincoln county, Chandler, Wellston, Davenport, EMTRO, and Air Evac 36

You might be hearing Central-Med EMS. They're running Stroud and Prague in EMTRO's old service area. EMTRO was the combination of Stroud and Prague EMS's when The Schuster Group bought Stroud and Prague hospitals. They went Chapter 11 and Central-Med contracted the EMS with both cities.

As far as I know, yes. They just happened to "offer" their services when EMTRO went belly up.

Yeah I was too. That could change before you know it. I know Stroud's contract with them was only temporary. They are being subsidized with a water bill fee the City Council implemented. I know the guy that runs that joint and....well.....I'll just keep quiet about him. My folks still live there and say they are disgusted by the appearance of some of the personnel.

Mercy seems to be an alright operation. I talked to their owner up at Medic Update and they seem like they have their stuff together. Who knows what will happen in the future. Rural EMS is like the weather anymore. Wait 5 minutes and it'll change.

Yeah I know exactly what your talking about. I've met the man seen how he runs his service. I've also met and ran many calls with those medics. I think there apperance is horrible. It doesn't matter if your the best medic around, if you walk in with your dress shirt untucked, covered in coffee/sweat/who knows what stains your going to make a bad impression.
