EMSA on Med 5

The pass couple of weeks I have been hearing EMSA dispatching on MED 5... Mostly during the the late evening. Any on know why?

I talked to an EMSA dispatcher about the same thing, and he told me it is so they (dispatchers) can hear themselves better. He explained to me it is hard to hear through the encryption and digital crap. anyways hope that answers your question.

Yes I saw a while back where EMSA90210 or whatever his name was posted that. Makes no sense to me. Why in the world would you need to hear yourself dispatching? Do you think that all of these police departments and fire departments have scanners set up so they can hear themselves? Hell no they don't. Maybe EMSA can tell us what's up with this.
